Texas Scrapfest 2008

Texas Scrapfest in 2008 was held in San Antonio and was HOT.  For a Canadian it was HOT.
The crop was in the hotel, but we all wandered the river front multiple times.  I stayed an extra couple of days to sight see.  I went to Sea Worl and had an absolute blast.  Lesle and I had supper together just us and her kids.  It was wonderful to meet some people I hadn't already met, and meet some people that I had already met either the year before or in Pennsylvania.

This is a LO I did of Sea World in San Antonio.   One day I will take hte whole family back I loved it that much.

I look at some of the pictures Lesle posted and I am in way more for 2008 than 2007 my shyness must have been wearing off.

So come join an icrop for Texas Scrapfest 2010 Texas Scrapfest

Texas Scrapfest

I had the pleasure of going to Texas Scrapfest in 2007.  It was in Dallas and I loved meeting some of the ladies in person from Scrapjazz.  There were so many of them and they were all friendly with me being so shy and so far away from home.

Unfortuneately both these ladies Jeannie and Ruthann have since passed on.  I am blessed to have met them both.

And then there is Kristin aka dirt track chick the two of us have so much in common that it was pure surprise to see her there.  She had told me she couldn't make it.

This year the Texas Scrapfest Crop is an I-crop,  anyone can participate in the challenges posted and be eligible to win some fantastic prizes.  Check it out. http://www.texasscrapfest.com/

A Canadian in the USA

These were taken at the upper falls in Yellowstone park last August.  My daughter a Canadian loved being tall enough to touch the huge flags that were hanging at the gift shop.

My Dad

This is a swap I did with some CTMH ladies using papers from the Summer Catalog.  This is the Passages paper and I just love it.  It is so very versatile.
